This Week’s Update: OpenAI Unveils GPT-4o
On May 13th, OpenAI announced the release of a new ChatGPT model called GPT-4o. An acronym for “GPT-4 omni,” this model is the first from OpenAI to blend text, vision and audio inputs within a single framework. GPT-4o is also faster and more conversational than previous models.
In an unprecedented move, OpenAI has made GPT-4o available to non-paying users. For the first time, all users will have access to features like data analysis, file uploads, and browsing capabilities.
